Full Figured Fashionista (F3) is a lifestyle brand that caters to the shopping needs of fashion-forward plus size women. Our goal is to help curvy women exude confidence from the inside-out, by provide her with a shopping experience that makes her look and feel her absolute best!
OUR MISSION
As an avid fashion enthusiast, we know our full figured fashionista places high importance on personal style and self expression. She loves her curves and wants to wear edgy fashions that are made for her unique silhouette. Without spending a fortune, she wants to wear suitable runway-inspired looks that are otherwise easily available in ‘skinny girl’ sizes.
Our mission is to fill a void in the plus size apparel marketplace by providing our target customer with clothing options and a shopping experience that is currently unavailable to her. Understanding the mindset of our customer allows us to create a brand that is made specifically for her!!
OUR CUSTOMER
F3 is made for a true full figured fashionista, regardless of her age! All we know is that our customer is fierce, confidant and feels empowered by her curves! Her love for fashion, beauty, music and pop culture define her lifestyle. Her style is inspired by blogs, runway, magazines, street style, celebrities, social media and her friends. She is technically savvy and uses social media to share her thoughts and express herself. She is an educated shopper and demands value when shopping. She is no longer interested in investing in high-price plus size clothing options! She is always searching for affordable, well fitting brands that offer women of her size clothing options that reflect her personal style!
OUR DESIGNS
The Full Figured Fashionista (F3) plus size clothing line is created in-house by Fashion Stylists turned Designers, Shuchi Sharma and Anjula Sharma. We are heavily involved in the day-to-day development of the F3 line to ensure an optimal fit and high standard of quality for our fashionista!
We understand the fashion needs of our target customer and we are committed to focus our product offering around 5 specific imperatives that we know are highly important to our full figured fashionista, when she is shopping: TREND, FIT, QUALITY, COMFORT and PRICE.
Ranging from sizes 1X to 3X, each piece in our collection is edgy, youthful and fashion-forward. Our line is inspired by the unparalleled social life in New York City, the unique street fashion in Tokyo and the rock star lifestyle depicted universally across today’s popular culture. We want to transform how the world views plus size apparel by offering our customers garments with attitude. F3 does not follow trends, we set them.
All F3 products are designed to specifically fit and flatter the plus size figure. F3 tops are made longer in length to conceal the lower tummy area and flatter the backside. F3 bottoms are made with super high waistlines to tuck in and smooth out the mid section so that customers feel secure in their pants and do not have to constantly pull them up. We use light weight fabrics so that our garments are airy and comfortable. Our expertise in fit comes from years of experience in dressing and fitting the curvy woman. Unlike some other fashion labels, F3’s designs are created with only the curvy figure in mind. We use our expertise on how to best flatter a plus size figure, together with our fashion styling background in the construction of each piece. We conduct focus groups and try our garments on numerous body shapes and sizes to ensure the accuracy of the fit of our clothing. Each piece in the collection is strategically created with cuts, silhouettes and fabrics that compliment and accentuate the curves of a plus size woman.
In addition to the F3’s commitment to offering trend and fit, we always consider factors such as comfort, versatility and wearability for each piece we design. We are keen on designing go-to fashionable pieces that you know you will feel good on the body. Our ability to incorporate these key factors into our designs sets F3 apart from other brands.
OUR FASHION EXPERTISE
With years of experience working as Image Consultants for clients’ size 14 and up, we have been able to discover the demands of the plus size customer firsthand. In addition, we have mastered the skill of dressing various full figured body types. Collectively, this knowledge has allowed us to design a line that fills the gap that exists in the plus size marketplace.
In addition to offering edgy clothing options for our full figured fashionistas, we have made F3 an online shopping destination that is interactive and informative. We want to help plus size women overcome fashion concerns and frustrations by having direct access to our fashion expertise! We are proud to serve as an information hub to better help knowledge our full figured fashionistas with fashion tips and tricks that will help add confidence and decrease uncertainty when coordinating looks!
